We really appreciate your opinion but we dare to disagree with you and mention that the main and basic options for creating the Portfolio are available exactly in the FREE version:
1. there are 7 exquisite views,
2. ability to have the sorting buttons,
3. fields for the title, description and even for the URL link, which can open the image, page or whatever you like in a new tab or not, per your interest
4. it allows creating not only the image projects but also the video projects,
5. there exists drag and drop functionality, which helps you easily to change the order of the images,
6. you can select the loading icon and decide to show it or not,
7. adding thumbnails to the images makes your projects more compact, comfortable and professional,
8. you can use the HTML in the description,
9. there is no limit for creating projects
We are sorry, but we think that having ALL these functionalities in the FREE version allows us saying that our Portfolio Gallery plugin can be very useful in the Free version and the Pro version complements and modifies all these functionalities.
