• First, Sorry, I put this question in the Feedback forum too (this is a mistake). Administrators can delete it, no problem

    Hello

When I write a post and I want to use a jpg or gif image (with png works correctly), wordpress uploads it , but doesn’t show me the image (only shows the borders to resize). If I use the media library tab I can see all the images that I upload when I have installed the 2.5 version.

    Can anybody help me?

I use Ubuntu 8.04 with firefox 3.0. The flash plugin is the 9,0,124,0 version and I try the solutions of the sticky post “Image/Media Uploader problems”

PD: Sorry, my English is very bad, I’m from spain

  • I thought I would offer an answer. I have run across this problem on different hosting services. I do not know what the web server problem is, but it most cases I find setting the /wp-content directory to 777 fixes the upload problem.

Here are the answers in Spanish from Babel Fish:
Pensé que ofrecería una respuesta. He funcionado a través de este problema en diversos servicios de recibimiento. No sé cuál es el problema del web server, solamente la mayoría de los casos yo encuentra la determinación del /wp-content directorio a 777 arreglos el problema de la carga por teletratamiento.

I hope this helps others who are having this problem.
