robust, awesome support

This slider is super robust and full of more bells and whistles than I currently need – but has lots of room for growth on the websites I manage. It works great on desktop and on mobile – it’s flawless.

I don’t like to have a ton of plug-ins on a site, but due to the scope of the biggest site I work on, it is very plug-in heavy, so conflicts are always a concern. Any time I’ve had an issue with an update to WordPress, this plug-in or even another plug-in that caused interference with the proper display of the header (rare instances, BTW), I’ve contacted Nextend support and they auto-reply with their hours (I’m in the US, they are not) for different time zones so I know when they might get back with me.

Often, I get replies within a few minutes. They are super knowledgable. No issues I’ve had are ever with this plug-in – it’s always with some other plug-in or custom script that has a conflict – and still, Nextend gives very thorough, easy-to-follow instructions on how to fix things.

I’m more of a designer and a hacker than I am a coder – and I cannot just write CSS from the top of my head, etc. – but any support I’ve gotten from Nextend has been super easy to follow. They are very friendly and professional.

The back-end of the plug-in is beautifully designed and fairly intuitive – although there are so many options, it’s almost daunting. Really nice to have so many options to choose from and look like a rockstar on the site I manage.
