Doesn't work and IT'S NOT FREE
-
Tried the plugin. First of all, IT’S NOT FREE!!!!! They require a really small payment of $0.51 for each Dropbox backup , but if you swallow that, when you go to deposit, the minimum you can deposit is $10 dollars with $50 pre-checked. Also, this is PER BACKUP, so if you leave it automated every day… well, do the maths.
However, it’s possible to do a local backup for free (I guess, since it never finished). Tried on a rather large site and after around 1 and a half hour (it’s not a typo, it’s ONE AND A HALF HOUR) it continued “trying” to create a backup. I crossed my fingers and stopped it praying nothing really bad happened, luckily it didn’t.
Right after that tried another backup plugin: after 8 minutes, I had my DB backup downloaded on my computer, so it wasn’t a problem of the site or its length, but this plugin.
Anyways, if you loooooooooove to pay for something that is “free” and can afford to do it for things that don’t work, give it a try. Otherwise…. seriously not recommended
PS: if by any chance you know a small tiny bit of UX and UI, you will want to cry when you see this. As a small hint: white text on white background for select fields is an absolute no-no
