Best free countdown plugin for WP – Still has few major issues.

  • This would’ve been perfect for my site if there weren’t these two major issues:

    – Doesn’t use server time for countdown. It actually uses the visitors time zone so everyone gets a different time. This issue effectively renders the whole plugin utterly useless.

    – Not responsive.

    Other than that, the timer is very customisable, easy-to-use and looks fantastic. I wish it would use server time instead of visitors system time.

    I only tested it with fellow countrymen first and then hosted my timed event, which was ruined because everyone around the world got the wrong time. It cost me me a lot of potential users and I had financially invested a lot in the said event.
