Last update is very disappointing

I use this theme for a client site with a child theme, and the last update was so drastic I had to revert back to an older version.

It’s not appropriate to make changes like this to a theme that’s been released as long as this one has. My client site cannot use the new version without hours of work to revise and re-style via the child theme.

Updates should be focused on security and compatibility. Theme authors should not assume that anyone using their theme wants a completely new look and feel.
