Sitemap xml does not output taxonomie category

Hi mamakin,

The sitemap contains everything that’s needed for Google, Bing and many other Search Engines to correctly, fully, and rapidly index your website. It’s also a very, very small part of this plugin, and much more is done behind the screens to make sure your website ranks well.

This plugin is fairly new and have yet to see the need for Taxonomies in the sitemap in favor for better performance. But as always, with time, new features are to come!

However, if you really do feel the need to include taxonomies in the sitemap, I’d like to kindly refer you to an external sitemap plugin, like this one, which does include Taxonomies.
The SEO Framework fully works side by side with other sitemap plugins, so there’s no need to worry about that :).

thank you very much for answer, I have another problem, my site url is lepinia.it/home and even the wordpress url is lepinia.it/home

the sitemap outputs lepinia.it/home/home

it adds me another home directory, do you know how can I solve it?

for example:

https://www.lepinia.it/home/home/property/patrica-complesso-immobiliare

I too would like to see the option to add taxonomies to site map. I have over 2500+ towns in my site and to have this option to check the box for Taxonomies would be one awesome new feature.

The new version hasnt come out yet, can it be in it please.

OR, can I use yr SEO and also use Google Sitemap Generator which is suppose to do Tax ?

You can combine The SEO Framework with external sitemap plugins, the one you’ve named is a very good one to achieve what you wish :).

Taxonomies in sitemaps aren’t on the plugin development Roadmap yet and requires a complete rewrite of the current (simplified) sitemap The SEO Framework has now, which isn’t feasible at the moment.

1. Yr sitemap compared to the google xml sitemap plugin, how different is it and why is yours better?

2. INDEX NOINDEX, If I want my taxonomies to load on page 1 of google, which do I choose site wide. Different blogs say different things ?

Okies. I see on that other post about being found by search queries and mentioned WordPress SEO for that. For the lif of me I cannot find that plugin yr mentioned anywhere, would you be so kind to help direct me to it as I have over 2500 towns in my site and my viewers will be using search queries such as “Coffee shops near me in Melbourne” and my page like this needs appear and to show on this particular page
