Good idea…HORRIBLE support

I’ve dealt with a lot of developers in my site building lifetime, but this guy has them all beat hands down…but not in a good way and certainly nothing to be bragging about.
The plug in itself? If it had worked correctly, it would have worked just fine for my application. All it needed was a few tweaks to work and all would be happy with the world. Enter support “team” Dean.
Instead of facing the problem and wanting to fix it, all I received in emails were spotty, one line “possibilities”. This went on over the course of weeks trying to fix something that probably could have taken a fraction of time if he wanted it to happen. It was apparent, he simply didn’t care if it worked for me or not. I even offered to pay for his time…that didn’t seem to motivate him neither.
So all in all, it is FAR from being a FREE plugin, as hours (seriously HOURS) were spent trying to figure out the little issues that were plaguing me…and me alone.
What did I end up doing? Deleting the plugin…I found another that worked great right out of the gate. I should have could have would have. We all know how that goes.
