Couple of rough edges but basically perfect.

This plugin makes WordPress a great platform for non-profits requiring online donations out of the box, rather than spending endless hours tweaking e-commerce plugins. I discovered GiveWP while trying to assemble a motley crew of plugins to make WordPress work with my preferred payment gateway (Stripe) for online donations and I would never look back.

There’s a few things that could work a tiny bit better — in terms of being able to customize them — but at this price level (free with paid add-ons), it’s excellent.

I can speak highly of the ecosystem of commercial plugins that GiveWP are developing as well for this – so you won’t get stuck if you need to go past the one-time / Paypal-based donation. After messing around with so many Stripe plugins, I find that theirs works seamlessly (if you follow the really basic instructions), as does their ‘must-have’ recurring donations paid plugin.

If their excellent and easy to follow documentation doesn’t solve any issues you’re having, I strongly recommend talking to their support if you have any issues, I haven’t been disappointed by their speed in getting back to me at all!
