I am not a programmer. I’m a graphic designer who offers WordPress sites to clients. This plug in worked well on the front end. But alas, I could never get it to work using the CSV file. Only one line appears in the final table. I researched through your github, and found that it doesn’t work well with Mac. So, I created the table in Google Spreadsheets and exported that way. Still not working. I reviewed more posts on your github and found that it could possibly be that I have links to emails in the tables. I saw your post about fixing that by adding data-type=”html” in the table head. But I can’t find that code in my developer tools using Google Chrome or Safari. That last post you said you’d have an update soon which would include a fix. That was only 20 days ago. But have you updated yet? ?? Thank you for creating this plug-in!

    Hello creativemedium,

Thank you for using my plugin and providing feedback ??

I’m sorry you’ve been having troubles creating tables wihtin the backend. I know you mentioned using a MAC, when it comes to anything related to MACs, its really hard for me to test for them because I don’t have a MAC operating system. Having said that, if you send me a copy of your CSV file I would love to do some testing/troubleshooting from my PC to see if I can get it to work.

Best way to reach me is through GitHub https://github.com/mythirdeye/jtrt-tables/issues

If you post an issue on the github page and include your CSV file I will begin the investigation ??

As for the data-type=html issue, have you seen this link? https://github.com/mythirdeye/jtrt-tables/files/102109/555555.zip

Its a 1 minute video showing you how to add the html datatype for the table.

You’re correct, I did mention this will be fixed with an update but lately I’ve been super super busy with work, school, start-up challenges, etc. I barely have any time for personal projects anymore and to be completely honest, I never expected this much popularity with this plugin. I love it, I’d love to improve it for the people using it but it means having to scavenge for free-time which comes once every blue moon ??

If you run into any more issues, please feel free to contact me through github.

    Thanks again for the feedback!
    John
