The loading time of the website will be significantly longer

    The plugin and the icons are very nice but loading time will be significantly longer! (up to 1.5 seconds longer than without plugin. In my case, almost twice as long). Not only the loading time of pages with the icons but also the entire website (even pages without icons). If you disable the Plugin, loading time will return to normal.

    1.5 seconds? Wow!
    For a plugin that does more than just connect the font or show “Hello World!” is absolutely normal speed.

    That’s not normal. If any plugin would cost only 1.5 seconds, in addition, then you would have almost 20 more seconds loading time at 10 plugins. With Your plugin need my website about twice as much time to load. It struck me at once that the load time was slower. But I could not understand what is the reason. If I disable the Plugin, loading time was return to normal. I already have more than 10 plugins, 3-4 very extensive plugins that have a lot to work too, but the loading time (without your plugin) is not more than 1-2 seconds. With Your plugin 3-4 seconds. That is a big difference.

    If you want I’ll give you some links to the most popular plugins that are loaded in 5-10 times longer than my plugin? It does not mean that they are bad. Just they doing more than my plugin.
    Always must be a happy medium between performance and functionality. If you do not understand it – I wish you good luck in search of a miracle…
