    Hi bloppy,

This is the first time I’m hearing of you or your issues. If you were having issues why not reach out for support before leaving us a negative review? Taking one look at the support forums, you’ll see that were one of the most active and responsive developers here on www.remarpro.com.

I think you’ll also notice from our ratings, that the plugin functions quite well. On the rare occasion a user has issues, we always work with them to get things in working order.

    To actually answer your issues:

    1) “links are broken”: I’m not sure what that means. If you are referring to the API key URL, or any of our other mailchimp urls in the plugin, I couldn’t tell you why. Everything links externally to mailchimp.com. I would be concerned with how your server is handling these, and not necessarily blame it on our plugin.

    2) “doesn’t find any list on MailChimp” – again, one look at our documentation or the support forums here and you will see that you simply need to clear your MailChimp API data for the list to appear on your site.

    3) “Buggy on key detection” – again, I’m not really sure what this means. Our settings page Where you enter the API key has no “on key detection”. You enter your API key, hit save and the API request returns its response.

I can only hope that you’ll read this review and either make use of the massive amounts of support we provide for free, or read through our documentation that we spent tons of time setting up.

Generally, a 1 star review is for plugins that completely break your site AND you get no response from the developers. Hopefully, you can understand that we’ve put in hundreds of man hours to develop this free plugin for the community, and see how your rating is unwarranted and unfair – and you’ll give our plugin another shot and reconsider your review.

Finally, from your account activity – I see that you previously asked support question to Contact From 7, which has gone unanswered by the plugin author completely. I’m wondering why you chose to ignore our support options and jump the gun and leave this negative review.

    Thank you,
    Evan

    Hi Bloppy,

I wish you would have given us a chance to troubleshoot your issues before leaving a 1-star review.

We are not sure what you mean by the links are not working issue. This is the first we’ve heard of that and with 30K+ users, I’m sure someone would have brought this to our attention by now.

Also, for lists not showing up, you sometimes need to empty the MailChimp API cache. We have instructions on how to do that in our Knowledge Base: https://yikesplugins.com/support/knowledge-base/api-cache-settings/

We welcome feedback and use it to improve the plugin every day, however we hope you reconsider leaving it in the form of a 1-star review.

If you need any further help, just let us know.

    Thank you,
    Tracy
