Question About Adding Advertisements

  • Suppose I want a banner add to appear at the top of every blog post I make – is there a way to do that without adding the banner code on EVERY single post I make? Thanks.

  • you modify single.php in your theme. Add the code in the right spot and you will get a banner to appear there every time. Alternately if you are using adsense there are a number of plugins that will allow you to insert code into posts with a little more freedom to choose how they appear

    Exactly as bradstinyworld said: don’t waste time pasting ad code into every post when you can do it just once in the theme.
