Bit confusing choosing right package, good support

Purchased Gift Certificate, then Gift Card bundle packs based on good experience with the free version (eGiftCard Lite). Ultimately, the plug-in functions as described, works great with the PayPal gateway, and support through email was timely and responsive (impressive with a big holiday week). Download and installation were smooth both times. This is a great solution for scenarios where the business wants to offer gift certs/cards to be redeemed at their place of business. There are many plug-ins out there which generate gift cards to be used on online purchases, but this is a different animal.

Would love to see a better explanation of the different functionalities on their website. There is the Gift Certificate functionality, which is a bare-bones looking certificate. An upgraded customer experience comes with the Gift Card functionality, which has a prettier presentation. The demo version combines elements of both, and I wish there was a bit more explicit breakdown of that fact – I think we would have just purchased the Gift Card bundle to begin with. There are other add-on modules, such as adding a personal message field, collecting physical address, etc. I think the prices are fair, and let you hit the ground running in gift card sales with a small amount of time invested.

Some of the language, such as default language for emails to be sent to customers IS a bit awkward, but that gets edited anyway. Support and video tutorials on the site were perfectly native English (just addressing the other comment I see here). I’d love to see more backend control of the front look/language without digging through files.
