• This works quite well. Very easy to setup and integrate. All of the features I hoped would be available were included, intuitive and well organized.

A couple of small issues I had which caused it to fall short of 5 stars:

I set it up so my form would send an admin email with each entry. I didn’t always receive one when someone entered.

Halfway through the campaign, I changed my form from a “Name” filed to “First Name” “Last Name” fields, and it deleted all of the “Name” data from entries prior to the change. I was able to go to the emails and plug that info in myself but it was a manual process and because of the email problem above, I didn’t have all the data.

Brian, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review!

There’s nothing in Ninja Forms that would cause some emails to send and not others (we pass the data to your host, and your host sends the email), but we have seen that happen with some users with strict email rules from their host. For users that encounter this, we strongly recommend an SMTP plugin to ensure messages are sent properly. That aspect is unfortunately out of our control, but we have some ways to make SMTP setup easier in a future version.

For your issue with the fields, we try to warn when a field is deleted but we could definitely do more to let users know that their data is tied to the fields. If you have a suggestion how we can do that better, we would love to take it into consideration for the next release!

Thanks again, Brian, and please let us know if we can do anything more for you!

I wrote an article on setting up email so it is reliable : WordPress emails are sent but not received
