Add button gone for Flickr widget after switching themes

  • After getting the Flickr widget working on the website, I wanted to play with a couple of other themes. Got Flickr working in a new theme (with additional sidebars) and then decided the original them was best. Switched back to original theme, but the Flickr widget is not in any of the sidebars or other sections of the theme design, AND the Flickr widget does not have an “Add” link available so I can’t add back in.

    Anyone have any ideas how I can get the “Add” button back on the widget? Thanks!

  • This has happened to me, too. I switched themes and then switched back and now the add button is gone next to the links widget and archives widget. this has happened to me before on other sites.

    i went back to the theme i had switched to, removed all the widgets and saved, then returned to theme i was using and was able to get the add buttons back. i don’t know why
