Can’t upload photos

  • Just got my hosting service squared away … and when I try to post a picture to my blog postings it all works well until I hit the ‘insert’ button and then the next pop up screen is blank and it hasn’t worked.

    Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

  • Yes same problem here. Links out to pictures online work, but uploading from my computer I keep getting an http error every time.

    Any solutions for this I just did a search and this is happening a lot with wordpress blogs?

    I’m not even getting an error message.

    I just switched from blogger.com – which occasionally will freeze up and not allow me to put pics on my posts. Does wordpress have the same issue?

    turned out to be my host. Hostgator blocks the upload of pictures for blogs such as wordpress as part of their internal security features. They turned this off for my blog and its working fine now.

    This information should be a sticky there are many people having this problem.
