Trial allover wordpress – violate the wordpress rulles!
You don’t have anything for free. It isn’t honest…I’m afraid it doesn’t violate the WordPress plugin guidelines.

Yes, there is a section against trialware in code. That means a plugin author cannot make the plugin only work for a time inside the actual code itself.
This plugin is an interface to a service and that’s called software as a service. The plugin code is not trialware but the service is and that’s alright. There is no restriction on the service that the plugin gives you access to.
You don’t have to like this plugin and your 1 star review will stand. I’m just addressing the rules violation part.
@stagesystems moreover we do have a free plan, we just want to give you a taste of our cool paid features for the first week. Afterwards, the plan automatically changed to the free one and you can use it forever.
@stagesystems due to the common confusion we’ll be changing that, and removing the automated trial. Once we change that, users will have to manually sign-up for the trial in order to test the paid plans. We believe it’s NOT the best user experience since most users DO want to try the paid features anyways… but on the other hand, we don’t want to create unnecessary antagonism among our awesome WordPress users. Hope it helps ??
We believe it’s NOT the best user experience
It’s your problem as you will present it to the user. You shouldn’t hide reality from the user!
The user will receive “better user experience”, if you tell and write the truth about your payments.
hohoho…
moreover we do have a free plan
REALLY???
Is it not a “plan”, where you write FREE?

@jan Dembowski
It isn’t told anywhere that it is a paid SERVICE!
How much times you can find the word “service” in their readme.txt file?
It isn’t written anywhere!
moreover, everywhere is written a “free plugin” with “free plan”!
Nowhere said, that’s TRIAL!
FREE TRIAL and not FREE – is much better.
But not only at this one place. It must be changed allover your readme.txt- It is FREE plugin & FREE service. You can use the free version forever.
- You cannot start using the plugin without accepting the terms of use which explicitly says that it’s a service.
- With regards to the trial, we don’t see it that way. We look at that as giving you a free 7-day of our Business plan. And once you start using the plugin, you immediately get a welcome email that explains ALL about it.
Maybe we should add some extra info about the trial on the description to make it even clearer. Unfortunately, based on my experience users don’t read more than the title + short description of the plugin anyway.
Why did you write
FREE plugin
if you are the SERVICE?Why did you write
FREE service
if you are TRIAL?Why did you write
FREE plugin AND FREE service
at the same time? It’s not the same! And this violate the wordpress rules!
It is a plugin that wraps a service inside. Which means it’s a plugin and a service. If it was violating the guidelines that the plugin was removed. We’re sorry to hear that you’re upset, but nothing constructive would come from this extreme criticism.
Have a great day.
Hello Mika,
Hello Samuel, please, remove this plugin from wordpress svn due wordpress rules violating,
or please, explain in what this TRIAL SERVICE doesn’t violate the wordpress rules.Thank you

Note: I’m not on the plugins team, I’m just a forum moderator. The plugins team works hard and get a lot of complaints.
That all said, this plugin doesn’t violate the plugin guidelines and that’s been explained to you already.

Yes, the plugin verbiage might need some updating to clarify things. But that doesn’t change the fact that this plugin is allowed.
I’m closing this review as this back and forth isn’t productive. This plugin is software as a service. The code is not limited but the service is and that remains alright.
