Problem: Only pulls in title and breadcrumbs

  • Hi,

    This plugin is exactly what I was looking for.
    However it is only pulling in the post title and the breadcrumbs, not the entire post.

    I think this may have something to do with my themes’s in-built Visual Composer, which I am beginning to dislike day by day.

    Is there a fix?

  • I suppose you just need to edit the posts_loop_template.php file to tell the plugin to fetch the entire post instead of an excerpt. Just replace <?php the_excerpt(); ?> with <?php the_content() ?>

    Although I’m not sure as to why one would need something like that from a posts-in-a-static-page plugin, since this is not the point of it. ??

    I agree with Jaaarne. The reason being it is not good practice nor is it good for Google. I see the point of the Plugin for myself personally, it is just perfect especially for a Web Developer to create a Silo Effect surrounding a Pages. Because don’t rank as well as Posts. Posts are your bread n butter for ranking. The Silo Effect shines when you have constructed your posts.

    Trust me. Just leave as is and you will fly, Xenique.
