Unable to save changes to settings

  • Hello,

    Recently I moved my blog froma shared hosting to a VPS and now I hv encountered enormous amount of problems. Neverthless I hv been managed to solve all except this one:

    In Wp 2.5.1 when I am going to make some changes in Settings > General or any option under setting I just get a blank page and the page URL reads this:

    https://blog.techiezone.in/wp-admin/options.php

    So I am unableto save any changes and it has driven me nuts. Please help me.

  • Is there any errors in the log file perhaps?
    Is the site and blog urls set properly in the options table?

    Wher do I go to check the log file?
    Ands whr is the options table.
    I backed up my wordpres folder frm previous host as suggested by WordPress documentation and uploaded that to my current host. I never heard of site and blog urls set properly in the options table.

    I just downloaded WP 2.5.1 and uploaded only the wp-admin folder to my server and all is fine now.

    Sometimes when we do not know the solution we need to find the most easier way to tackle it.
