OLD WP 3.1.3 Install Survives over 4 Yrs with BulletProof!

Yes, I selected WordPress version 3.1.3, when a client contacted us to help handle his updates for him, he said he hasn’t touched his site in over 4 years. I was expecting the worse, ton of Malware, and who knows what else.

I login to this ancient copy of WordPress still operating with 3.1.3 (the original install, May 2011) and if you can believe this, it was clean of all malware! It did have 200 spam comments waiting to be approved. But no bad code anywhere to be found.

I didn’t write down what version of BulletProof was in stalled (thinking 44 or 45?)

Talk about a test of time. I had to give kudos to BulletProof.

All updates went really well from BulletProof 4X to 54 and WordPress 3.1.3 to 4.2.2 now, all is good.
