Right hand Column at Bottom of Page!?

  • So the right hand column on my wordpress is getting pushed to the bottom of my frontpage. On other pages it is fine. I thought it was a template problem so I reinstalled it and that doesn’t seem to do anything. That is the same thing happens on all templates. How do I get the right hand column back in its place?

  • You need to validate and fix your code. Things like unclosed div tags are major causes of display problems.

    It’s almost certainly a missing </div> tag. It can be time consuming to find, but that’s probably the problem. Like iridiax said, try validating it, a lot of times that will find it for you.

    Also….is there a reason that the text is so huge on the right hand column? That’s the Cutline template, right? Does it do that when you load the template straight out of the box, or only after you start editing the sidebars?
