couple of things to fix/add prior

  • if you are using cloudflare, you have to uncheck minify HTML, otherwise you get timestamp errors.

    also, if you are using custom htacess and mod_rewrite, wp-cache will throw their code, willy nilly in there. I like a tidy commented htaccess because I am not that good at it and its nice to have comments to know what does which.

    the mod_rewrite will really speed up vs php- but the htacess issue for me it didnt work at all and blew out my site, it wouldn’t load after a couple hours. you may get different results.
