Almost perfect

I like everything about this theme, except for the fact that it displays author rather than categories for a post. In a theme designed for a web-active personal blogger, it seems odd to display the author in the metadata — I really doubt that anyone’s going to use this for a multi-author site. But with the navigation and sidebar hidden by default, including categories as well as tags in the post metadata seems like a no-brainer. I know how to make a child theme; I’m just a little annoyed that I have to do so to correct such an obvious fault. Otherwise, great minimalist design and typography. Perfect for someone who wants a home base that’s focused on content rather than personality.
