My Widgets dont see eye to eye with new theme

  • hello
    set up for the first time and played around with the default theme, chose some widgets and set them out as happy in side bar. All was happy and working.

    chose a new theme ‘copperleaf plus’ and to my supprise (good package this WP) most things slotted into place as was but in the new style.

    when in admin i went to widget page and NO Widgets… just a note to the effect that this theme wasnt quite ‘tuned in’.
    I’m not hot on code but followed help on your site to widgitise a theme.. and then appeard the widget page!
    (your instructions/guidence is superb)

    Prob: the widget page doesnt seem to influence the themed sidebar anymore… whats on the widget page doesnt tally or alter whats in the sidebar when actual page is viewed… is there another stage to marry them or is the <il> verses <div> coding too separate (perhaps incompatible)

    still havnt found a ressolve for this prob:

    Prob: the admin widget page no longer influences the new-theme’s sidebar anymore.

    whats in and altered in the widget page doesnt tally or alter what then showss in the sidebar of the actual page, when viewed.

    any thoughts on a poss ressolve for this?
