• ok i am using subscribe2 on my web site with wp-mail-smtp patch.
mails are sent correctly to confirm subscriptions with both page subscription template and widgets. – so wp-mail-smtp is working.
    BUT
when i go to the write menu -> mail subscribers, only registered users recieve mails (i habe only 1 registered users which is also wp admin – and has a gmail mail address).
if i select public subscribers (i have 2 for testing right now – one on live.fr – second on hotmail.fr), both of them receive nothing. in that case my admin receives the mail i wrote in the write menu. (i checked and in the manage options, registered users DO NOT belong to the public subscribers group).
even if i have only 2 subscribers i set the BCCLIMIT to 30 as i have seen in forums it could help. it did nothing.

if anyone could help; i’d really like to use this plugin. i know there are differents newsletter manager but S2 is the only one with integrated interface.

    pliz help
    thanx

    after further investigations…
i made my wp registration enabled for everyone so public subscribers become registered users and again
only ADMIN is recieving mails from the write subscribers menu

Have you contacted your hosting provider to make sure you are allowed to send emails using a BCC header via PHP?
