Few Features, Nags for money

  • As we have with several of their plugins,
    Installed the “free” version.
    the plugin had problems. Support? Not.
    A nag screen nags you to death – and their prices, for a plugin, are ridiculous.

    I strongly suspect that some of the 5 star ratings are faked, or lets say, severely biased due to financial interest. (Same people giving same short “amazing” review on ALL. So we are leaving our own on the ones we tested/used)

    I don’t see any tickets from you there, we’d love to look into any concerns you might have.

    I’m not sure why you’d suspect there are faked ratings here, the plugin is totally free and well developed. There’s no nag screen with it either, just some options that are disabled with this free version but the plugin still works great without those and those options could potentially be achieved with a little custom code if that’s needed. We’ve also been very good about support, it’s totally free.

    There are a lot of users who see incredible value in that, we’ve had some nice discussions with them here and even took suggestions from them through this rating section.

    We’d love to assist you in a similar way if you’d be open to that.

    I hope you’ll reconsider and allow us to assist to try and turn this around for you.

    We’d love for you to give PopUp another try! We’ve unlocked quite a few of the premium options with our latest update just released to the free version, extra functionality and flexibility! ??

    These include:

    1: Custom css editing, you can now add custom css rules directly to your PopUp’s, on a per PopUp basis.

    2: Colour options are now unlocked, allowing you to add background colours and change the colour of the PopUp’s

    3: We’ve raised the active PopUp limit from 1 to 3, which is perfect if you want to run A/B tests or similar. ??

    4: The ajax form submittal option has been unlocked, perfect for use with gravity forms and other form plugins!

    5: Style your PopUps with the great animations which were premium only and now unlocked for all! ??
