1,400 spam messages a day

  • Can’t disable “”Email to a Friend” feature, which is currently responsible for upwards of 1,400 SPAM messages a day. This needs to be addressed.

    Your theme controls whether the button for this shows up. You should be able to easily hide it or pass those requests through Akismet to prevent spam.

    The spam bots aren’t pressing the button. I know this because we deleted the button from within the template file. They’re directly hitting the back-end piece that allows the emails to go through.
