Blocks Admin access on site, meaning you can’t actually work on your site once it’s installed and have to access the plugin on ftp to delete it. Worst plugin I have ever used.

Couldn’t replicate this issue on any of the sites that I saw with the plugin installed.

Went through a list of sites google analytics and added /wp-admin to sites that have the plugin installed for testing, and was able to get to the admin screen without any issues

This issue seems unique to your install, perhaps there’s a conflict with another plugin or theme hook.

Based on your review I added additional checks and added an admin login button on the Under Construction landing page.

do you have any custom htaccess rules or redirect rules set on this domain ?
the login-url being read is being redirected to /login instead of the default /wp-login.php . This is usually something that can be controlled from security plugins or directly from htaccess.

Same behaviour is observed when i go to /wp-admin on your site, i am automatically re-directed to /login. Your domain has a re-direct rule somewhere, which alters the normal WordPress behaviour.

It is preventing the plugin from being able to filter out the admin from the Construction Mode template, which I would say in this case is not due to a fault of the plugin, it is simply a case of a custom configuration in the domain.

So far this is the only instance of this issue that has been reported, however I would like to consider allowing the user to set their login URL. That way if someone changed their login URL from /wp-admin to /login they would just need to set that option in the Construction Mode plugin as well.

I hope this gives you an idea what the issue could be. Thanks for giving me the URL, this ticket has been bugging me because I don’t want any issues like this in the plugin.

I hope you re-consider the low rating you gave this plugin, after this explanation.

    thank you
