• After I wrote here that it’s a good stuff, I’ve found out, that the migration overwritten all my existing database files, with the migrated ones, however they aren’t had the same name, nor prefix.

    So I think it’s a very big problem, if you migrate a site to a “shared” database it will delete your whole database… and it doesn’t made a backup from it or anything, just delete and overwrite, so I’m phoning now with the hosting guy hoping he has a backup of my jobs.

    I’ve solved it with my host, he made backups every day, so only lost half-day work, but it’s nice from you. Sorry for my diatribe and upset, but my boss was a bit angry of this.

    So at least it turned out, that the migration is overwriting the current database if it’s not empty. That’s a good thing to know before use.
