How to recover my admin password?

    Thanks for this follow up info on the known issue and fix record… but, I wonder if I’m the only person thinking this is serious enough to warrant an early patch instead of waiting for a new release? I’ve hit this several times and to say it’s a complete PITA would be an understatement.

    Although ticket 6842 does seem to address a quirk in the “Password Reset E-mail” feature, how do you put an early patch on forgetting your admin ID or password?

    On the other hand, following the chronology here, makes for very interesting reading ( are these guys some brainiacs, or what? ) Perhaps if you are the industrious type, you could implement the changes before any future release.

    ‘jus sayin’… I guess it depends on your expectations. Seems a little over my head though.
