• I sent three messages inquiring about WP 4.0 comparability and never received a reply. I decided not to wait any longer and installed the plugin. The installation worked. The plugin asked for site ID so I singed up at NowTalk. Got their sign up email. There was no indication of what is the “site ID.” I entered the chat number, website, etc., and nothing worked.

    It seems this plug in in NOT WP 4.0 compatible. What a terrible shame because it looked promising.

    As for your question, we are compatible with WordPress 4.0. The site ID is located within the Nowtalk admin dashbaord on Nowtalk.com under Options—>Embed. Click the WordPress logo and your site ID should be listed there.
