    Brand new to WordPress…. My blog lives at https://www.thelifeofbrian.info/blog. I upgraded from the default 2.3.1 install provided by my host to 2.5.1 last night.

    I was able to import all my posts from Blogger and am working through a million issues…

    But right now I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with my categories. I’ve gone to Manage | Categories — and I can see all the categories I’ve added (10). Yet when you go to my blog, it only shows 2 categories.

    Any idea why? (I haven’t actually started using any of them – could that have anything to do with it?)

    geez, never mind. I just tried it out and as soon as I actually use a category, then it shows up. doh!
