Site wide 500 internal server error with HeadSpace 2 plugin

  • Help me please. I get a 500 Internal Server Error at my WordPress blog

    What have I been doing. I had activated HeadSpace 2 plugin and was entering in Options > HeadSpace > Page Settings and I got:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function record_view() on a non-object in /home/musik/public_html/wp-content/plugins/popularity-contest/popularity-contest.php on line 1548

    But when I went back to the site I get:

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.41 Server at www.mu-sik.com Port 80

    Question: Can I delete a plugin from my server without deactivating it?

    I can’t even get into wp-admin so this is the only thing I can think of.

    Help!

    Sorry I panicked after seeing the first error with Popularity Contest and added a “php_value memory_limit 64M” to my .htaccess file as I thought it was a php memory issue and it was this that caused the site-wide 500 Server Error.

    There does appear to be a conflict with Popularity Contest and HeadSpace 2 plugins but I’ll look into it further before I try HeadSpace again.

    I know your comments were posted a long time ago but I have to same error where it says internal server error. Wondering if you were ever able to solve the issue. I have not found any answers. Or if you have found anything similar to headspace2.
