• Really nice…the “hide login area” crash all of my pages. Try it! Change it > logout > login > BANG!

Fix it: login with ftp, rename plugin “better-wp-security”, now you can login with “wp-admin”, rename plugin back, go to settings of the plugin and unselect “Enable the hide backend feature.”

    Old version: no problems :-/

Tested, the new version works correct! Much better guys!

I’m glad that the update has fixed the problem that you were experiencing.

It’s always nice when problems are resolved and we do value your feedback.

Maybe the rating of the plugin could be resolved. ??

    Enjoy your day! -R.S.

Thanks for the fix Madloki:) I got locked out too, and had no idea how to recover admin access. I’m now not sure about using this plugin after that experience ??

I just installed the plugin after uninstalling when iThemes took over but I get a blank page (same as before) and basically can’t do anything except go to FTP and rename the plugin folder, then log back in the regular way and change the folder name back to re-enable it and un-tick that feature.

It worked somehow before after I went out of my way to find a fix but I don’t feel like doing that after every update. Currently, not working and may not go back to this ever again.
