FINDING THE “PRESENTATION” TAB

  • I have been told that I can simply install the Adsense script via my web sidebar via a text widget, but that I first have to go through my WordPress admin accout and then click on Presentation. I have tried going trough my admin account and only end up on my dashboard.

  • That’s old vernacular. In the dashboard, on the left side, you should see a tab called Design — third from the left. Click it and then click Theme Editor — last tab on right. Your default theme should appear. It’s an editing box (textarea), and the list of files on the right. You should see your sidebar.php file there. That’s what you edit. HOWEVER, if that plugin has a widget, you should instead click on Widgets and grab a text box and plop your adsense code in there.

    Hi,
    I would love to be able to design my sidebar, but I looked to the left, in dashboard, for a design tab, but could find none! I have tried other themes, but could not seem to be able to navigate the ability to change anything in any of the sidebars. Am I choosing the wrong themes? How can I change the look, and add, copied code into the sidebar widgets?
    please help, I am so new at all of this,
