• This application effectively replaces the media center for WordPress. After it is installed it breaks the media uploads outside of the plug-in. Images uploaded via the media center will not have a thumbnail visible.

The application requires a group product configuration with price variances. If you have a single product, this makes a mess of your product data and it is not easy to correct.

The product has a lot of potential but is disappointing due to its limited functionality, database bloat, bugs, and narrow vision.

  • Your statement “effectively replace the media center for WordPress” is incorrect. Please review the demonstration site for proof: https://bptpi.theportlandcompany.com/wp-admin u: bptpi p: bptpi

Our Plugin makes no invasion to the Media Library whatsoever. It’s completely self contained and doesn’t even modify any WooCommerce code.

The issue you’re experiencing seems to be a Plugin conflict elsehwere as we cannot replicate it on the demonstration site or anywhere else at this time.

Your note about grouped products is, sort of, correct. But your note about using it as a single product isn’t clear. If you add one Variation, then it only generates one product. Could you share a screenshot of what you’re displeased with?

Also, can you provide any citations (proof) that the Plugin is bloating the database or of any bugs?

I concur with samdobrow. This plugin broke my thumbnails on each media upload after plugin installation. It also added a watermark function that added their sloppy watermark to each media item created by the plugin. This could not be removed even by replacing the media image.

Thank you for your feedback ramedia.

We discovered a bug with our code that prevented thumbnails from being generated when uploading through the Media Library and are expecting to release a patch any day now.

However, we stand by the fact it does not “effectively replace the Media center”.

The watermark is only added to photo’s that are uploaded through BPTPI and can be disabled or replaced in the Premium version. Was that not clear? If so we’ll update it to make that more clear because that would be, understandably, frustrating if you didn’t know that.

    Thanks again for your feedback.
