What’s going on with the plugin repository check system?

I wasn’t going to leave a rating because I wanted to give the developer the benefit of the doubt and a chance to correct any accidental mistake but I believe this needs to be looked at quickly to minimize any embarrassment to all involved; and leaving both a review and support request is the best way to get the plugin checked by the WP mods.
