• Before I start messing up my file structure I thought I would check and see if anyone knows the answer to this question —

My website is a Frontpage 2003 one.

I want to install a WordPress blog which will be a subdomain on my website, i.e. I don’t want to host it on WordPress.

The webhoste has php, apache, and Mysql and so can run the wordpress architechture.

My problem is physically uploading the files. If I ftp them in, then it’s likely to break the Frontpage permissions and otherwise screw up the frontpage files. But I don’t think the wordpress files will upload through Frontpage.

Has anyone managed to make wordpress and frontpage coexist, or do I need to set up a second hosting account just for WordPress?

    TIA,
    Erin Cox-Holmes
