Finally, the Caching System that Works!
-
I have tried all the popular plugins here at WordPress, and non of them worked for me properly. W3 Total Cache worked fine, but only on my main page and seemed to make all my other pages (not posts) slower. Perhaps because I am on a Windows Platform, perhaps because the Abyss Webserver from Aprelium.Com I use is not recognized…for whatever reason, none of them worked.
This plugin is Zen Simplicity itself. Everything is rendering at a second or less. My one downside to this kudos is that I lost my RSS Feed, but as I run this site with comments disabled and more like a website than a blog, this mattered less to me than it might to others. And here, again, if I had made an exception for my Feed in the exception box before starting, perhaps that would not have occurred in the first place.[edit: Got my Feed Back!] Oh, and yes…this does cache WordPress error pages, at least for me.
For my purposes, this is the “magic-bullet” that finally rendered cached pages and posts “as if” they were static HTML5.
Awesome!
