How to disable sidebar parent category display

  • Hi current my sidebar looks like this :

    Parent
    -child1
    -child2
    -child3

    But when i click on “parent”
    it displays all the child posts under it. How do I disable this? I only want the post that belong to the parent to display when I click on parent and not all the posts from the Child categories to display. (im using thi as a cms tool)
