• And hides the fact this is a lite version of the plugin and not a pro version.

This (the lite version assuming it still updates ping lists and doesn’t spam them) would have got 5 stars but…

This shiet is really starting to annoy me, I’m sick of developers who hide what plugins cost and do. It’s very simple to include “this is lite version (with x features), with paid upgrades (that do x features)” in the description.

I have no problem paying for services, but when those service providers try to trick people into installing it just annoys me to the point where I don’t buy.

I have around 50 different plugins I have bought, and/or pay monthly subs for. Yoast Local/Video, Squirrely, vaultpress, popup ninja, etc.

Money is not the issue here, it’s just bad marketing is the issue.

Duly noted, and I completely understand. I’m working on changing this and being up-front on the description and landing page about the payment/upgrades.

To be honest, I had no idea that this plugin would catch on like it has, it was a weekend project so I hadn’t given much though to marketing and payment disclosure/etc. I’m subscribed to plenty of monthly services myself and I’m in the same boat as you, I hate it when plugins don’t fully disclose everything.

You have my word that I’ll be fixing this, stay tuned- and thanks for the feedback.
