• Hi,
I have a blog which was set up a couple of years ago and was working fine.

When I tried to log into the admin area today I got download window telling me I was trying to download an application/x-httpd-php4 file instead of the admin login page displaying.

This download window displays when trying to access any part of my blog.

As the blog was set up a long time ago I tried upgrading to the latest version of WordPress through cPanel/Fantastico, but this didn’t help.

Other blogs I have on the same web server (different domain) are working fine so I’m pretty sure it’s not a problem with my hosting company.

    Hopefully someone can help.

    Thanks.
    Mark.

    Just a quick update.

I have fixed this now, added the following to my .htaccess file

    AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php

    Working fine now.
