Not worth the slow loading time

  • This plugin is easy to set up and looks good but it has a few issues that make it unusable.

    The main problem is the slow loading time, and it caused parts of my site to stall while loading.

    Also, the template tag doesn’t check that the plugin’s installed, so if you deactivate the plugin temporarily, your pages won’t load beyond that point.

  • Hi, the plugin only use official code for every social network button, the plugin code overhead is minimal. The page loading time only depends on the number of active social network buttons and on their shared code loading time.

    True, and I realise that connecting to third party products can cause delays in loading, but I only had two social networks (Facebook and Twitter) ticked and it was still very slow.

    I’ve found an alternative plugin that’s similar but much faster.

    which one? can you tell us?
