  • The plugin sends and email notification that identifies which plugin needs to be updated, what version is currently installed, what version is available, and a link to …/wp-admin/update-core.php where the updating can proceed.

    I installed this plugin about 6 weeks ago on a couple of my sites and have been very happy with it. Will now install it on all my WordPress sites.
