Did you really have to ruin your plugin by adding a backlink without even asking or allowing us to opt out?, well done.

Hmmm… looks like there’s a site link in the front end class file. Flagged this up for investigation.

Looks like an accident. The setting is unchecked, but his check for it is flawed. Emailing ??

    Hi esmi,

I’ve just updated the plugin. Can you confirm that this has fixed it for you?

no, I installed the version on another site and you still have the backlink there, it’s annoying, if you would at least ask I would consider it but you think people is stupid enough to not realize?

Acutally the powered by link is gone. What you’re seeing now is Facebook!

Because the comment code is calling FB’s services, it shows a link to tell you what you’re running. And that’s not something he has to turn off. Embedded services are allowed that link in the interests of disclosure. Notice how it goes to https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/ ? FB :/

Thanks for the clarification Ipstenu ??

It is a shame that this 1 star rating is the basis of an issue from Facebook and not from the plugin

Well, I’ve just balanced the thing giving it a 5 star ??
Most of the other options out there haven’t been updated for over 2 years.

For the rest of the users who doesn’t like the link to FB developers at the bottom of the comments box: you could just try hidding it through CSS/jQuery (just as we used to hide the Jetpack smiley face before WP put an option on the plugin config).

I don’t really bother that much, and in the end, it’s their credits.
Thanks a lot for your work Alex!!!
