can't rest my password email could not be sent !!

  • hello i am trying to test the password reset but i can’t telling me :
    **The email could not be sent.
    Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.**
    what to do? please notice that my account email which i am trying to reset the password for on gmail! so my host here is it the gmail or my hosting company? and how to solve this?

  • you need to contact your server hosting provider(Server where you hosted your site) and ask them to enable web mail for this site.

    Hello sir thank you ! one more thing i can send emails to my gmail account right? after they enable web mail so i don’t have to use an email that i have created on my host ?

    Yes you can it will send emails to admins email id.
    You can find it on dashboard settings=>general menu.

    the email in general menu is the one that reset password will go to?
    i mean i have a different users with different emails can’t each one of them get his own email ? i am asking for the reset password emails and other emails! Thank you ??

    They will also get email notification by default.

    No i don’t have any documentation but here anyone can help you just resolve your server issue and thats it.

    You will not need anything if server problem gets resolved.
