Basically, plugins with ‘files’ subdirectories will not work on (at least some) MU installations due to an htaccess RewriteRule. Since SyntaxHighlighter stores its javascript in a files subdirectory, it is broken. SyntaxHighlighter probably should store its javascript in a differently named subdirectory.
