Can't delete Plugin

Can you provide error log?

I’m getting the same issue. It made a mess of things and left user roles behind and probably other things. This plugin seems inconsistent and untested.

please i have the some problem i want to delete this plugin permanently from my wordpress site but if i do that i see Deletion failed i know i can deleted it from public_html/ direct but the problem is still have some anspress roles is my site if example if i want to add a new user i see the roles i can add anspress banned or anspress moderator or anspress participant so can some one help me do deleted it permanently

Hope you get that sorted. When you do, here’s a decent alternative.

Guys, just FTP and DELETE the plugin and that’s it!

Also @dustin DW QA is not a decent alternative, it is actually an unsupported and full of security risks plugin. Been there, done that.

Also in github i see 3.0.6 that fixes (?) the uninstall problems within WP.

I’d agree with that. DW Question and Answer isn’t the best option either, but deleting the plugin directory does not solve the issue. This plugin leaves behind multiple instances of itself. If you want the version mentioned, you will have to go to GitHub for now. I will say this plugin has a great design but lacks features.

I’m pretty sure 3.0.6 will be available via WP as usual.

It is true that manually deleting the plugin leave the db with junk behind but there are plenty of plugins to clear that (many plugins leave their data in the db anyway).

New version released.

Not resolved with 3.06. Still will not delete the plugin. I would Avoid this plugin until they fix the delete plugin problem.

Ok. Then what are they and how do I delete it. It is real nice to act as if it is resolved when it is not!

No it is not a server hog, while it is somehow a demanding plugin.

You better find a REAL hosting company that knows WP and how to host it.
