Issue with Privacy Setting and Profile visibility !!

  • Hey

    if I am making any user privacy setting as “only me” and Hide my profile from directory to “No” and than again changing the status to every one and no respectively I am unable to see that profile again in any member directory.

    Looks like a bug, can any body help me on this to resolve.

    Yes I am getting same thing. Looks like it’s a common issue. I did verify using Adminer that my profile_privacy metakey is being set correctly in MySQL after changing back and forth. Have done conflict test and all to no avail. I am the admin and just changed the setting to make sure it worked, it did. Then when I changed back, I never showed up in directory again.

    Please see this link. This seemed to resolve my problem…installing the pre-release at the suggestion of Champ…I changed the privacy settings, changed the In directory back and forth and all worked as expected….never gonna get those hours back from tonight!
